Cleveland - Baby WIATT - Powered by Full Frame Initiative

Highlights

Between May 2023 and December 2023, the City of Cleveland has collected thousands of surveys about the Cleveland North Coast project. Here’s where we landed when comparing how well our surveys matched what the Census says about who lives here:

  • Murphy Epson collected nearly 5,000 surveys along with another 360 from the credible messengers in WIATT
  • Residents who identify as White and/or wealthy were over-represented in the surveys
  • Residents who identify as Black or African American, Hispanic or Latinx, low income, or ages 18 to 29 years old were under-represented in the surveys
  • The WIATT credible messengers were successful in getting a majority of their surveys from Black or African American, Hispanic or Latinx, and/or lower income residents
