How to get a more representative survey sample

Are you finding that certain populations are missing from your surveys? Here are some ideas for reaching those communities:

1. Explore community assets to identify neighborhoods where under-sampled populations live.
2. Identify locations such as community centers, health clinics, libraries, schools, businesses, or parks where you might conduct more survey outreach.
3. Reach out to community members in those neighborhoods to learn about good times to survey community members, ask where else you should go to reach people, and find out who else might be helpful.
